HOLY WEEK IN OUR PARISH

 

Palm Sunday

Palms will be supplied and blessed at all Masses.

 

Spy Wednesday

Bishop Michael invites you to join him at The Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar at 7p.m. for the Mass of Chrism.

Holy Thursday

Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 8p.m. with procession to the Altar of Repose. All Ministers of Holy Communion are asked to attend on this evening for a renewal of their commitment. Adoration will conclude with Night Prayer at 10p.m.  At the request of Pope Francis there will be a special collection for the poor and the marginalised.

GOOD FRIDAY

Stations of the Cross in Muff at 10a.m.

Stations of the cross in Corlea at 10.45a.m.

Annual Good Friday ecumenical service in saint Ernan’s     at 12noon entitled The Six Miracles of Calvary followed by Lenten lunch in The Red Hall in aid of The Church of Ireland Bishop’s Appeal and Kingscourt Social Services.

Solemn Liturgy of the Lords Passion at 8p.m.

Holy Saturday

EASTER VIGIL IN KINGSCOURT.

Easter Sunday

Annual  Easter Dawn Mass at 5.55a.m. on Lough an Leagh.

9.00a.m. Easter Mass in Corlea

10.30a.m. & 12noon Easter Sunday Masses in Kingscourt.
