Are there any comments you would like to add in relation to our school uniform

no School trancksuit should be navy grey is very hard got for girls. Everyone has navy ones and alot easier got. I think that if we had a chest on the uniform it would look better gray is a had colour to find anywhere else than in town. track suit bottoms very hard to find too expensive in town. make it more colourful our school uiform is too dull Everbody should be made wear the tie. I think the uniform needs to be enforced more, there are still too many children wearing unsuitable tracksuit bottoms which take away from the look of the uniform. I think a school crest is very important, and every other school has one. That the uniform is worn at all times & the tracksuit only worn on P.E days. It looks a lot better to see the kids in their proper uniform! Pupils should wearthe particular grey track suit bottoms. Alot of pupils wear various colours of grey and does not look good. Ib I am happy with the style of uniform, however the school should enforce that only the school colours and styles are worn. the uniform is fine theres only one thing i would change and thats the colour of the jumper from wine to navy Less bland colours with a school crest is the best way to create a sense of pride with the children. There’s no need for them to where a particular type of shoe until secondary school though, they’re only children. I would like a less formal uniform and perhaps black trousers as grey are not easy to find especially for tracksuit bottoms. No. I am happy with it.

The Student Council presented Fr. Gerry with a cheque for €375 euro collected by the school for Trócaire.

All those who returned their boxes or who offered a donation for Trócaire received tickets for a draw. Congratulations to the winners of this draw. Congratulations to Mrs. Smith’s First class who won a prize for the highest number  of Trócaire boxes. Fr. Gerry was delighted and very grateful for the support given to the Lenten Trócaire collection. He has guaranteed that all this money will go directly to helping provide fresh water for those in need in Africa.

The 6th and 5 th class pupils helped to make sure that all numbers called were cancelled on the pupils cards. There were lots of full houses that earned the pupils Easter eggs. They all got a cream egg at the end of the Bingo.

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th and 6th class pupils enjoyed Easter egg bingo on Friday. Our Bingo Mistress Ann Mac Donald presided over several excellent bingo games which absorbed all the pupils resulting in a very quiet hall full of concentrating children listening very carefully for their numbers to be called. Lots of eggs were won and everyone got a consolation prize of a cream egg.

There, we learned to play Gaelic organised by the T.Y  students. It was brilliant and we all had a good time.
