Bric a Brac in Aid of St. Vincent De Paul

Our Bric a Brac for St. Vincent De Paul

We had our Bric a Brac in aid of the St.Vincent De Paul. We made lots of buns. We had a toy stall, a book stall, a clothes stall, a bag stall, a stall for ornaments and for videos. We collected €546 euro for the St. Vincent De Paul. Paddy Roddy who is chairperson of the local St Vincent De Paul collected the money .  Thanks to all who supported our Bric a Brac. We are very proud that our sale has been so successful!

Best of Luck in your New School.

We wish Odhran and Callum and their family  the very best on their move to Australia.  Best wishes to Catherine Muldoon Lopez in her new school and we wish her family the very best with their new business.

Official Opening on 9th November

Our 3 classroom extension and library were officially opened by Bishop Michael Smith on Friday 9th November. This was a very proud day in the history of our school. The 6th class sang beautifully and were very ably prepared by class teachers Mrs. Foley Gargan and Ms Mc Geough.  Maria played the clarinet and we also had a group of recorder players under the stewardship of Ms. Murtagh. Jessica Owens sang a solo. The readers all read with great precision and the bishop commended the children’s delivery and talents during the ceremony of blessing. Two plaques were unveiled one commemorating the opening of the extension and the other in remembrance of Stephen Gaynor. The school crest created by Niamh and Rianna was blessed. The staff past staff and Board of Management members , Karl Dunne and his wife Mary representing Zilic, architect Paul Taite , councillor David Blake and former councillor Clifford Kelly were all present for the ceremony.

Rianna, Sarah Rose and Cian created a wonderful presentation on the history of our school to the present day which can be viewed below
