The 6th classes also have their Graduation Mass at 12 o’clock mass on the 24th of June in the church (which everyone can attend) and is followed by a presentation and refreshments in the school hall. Garda Damien has visited 5th classes for the 4th time this year.
Today he talked about water safety.
He tells us that as older children we must look after smaller children beside lakes and while swimming. We read leaflets which gave us tips how to stay safe in water. We also talked about alcohol and cigerette safety.
* we also got certificates and lollies as was Garda Damien’s last time coming in to talk to us about safety.
