Our Confirmation Day

On the 29th of April 2012, the sixth class pupils from Saint Josephs N.S. were confirmed by Bishop Michael Smith alongside Father Gerry, our parish priest, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The Confirmation Mass started at 3 o’clock and lasted an hour and half, till half past four. The children’s choir sang at the Mass and they sounded beautiful. In total 44 pupils from our school received the sacrament of Confirmation. Everybody had a sponsor there. All the pupils picked their own Confirmation name and many of the children from our school took the pledge. After the Mass we took a class photo and we took photos with the Bishop, our family and friends. Everybody left the Mass to have a meal with their loved ones and those who had travelled. We really enjoyed our Confirmation Day. We would like to thank everyone, especially our teachers Ms. Foley-Gargan, Ms. Mc Geough, our principal Ms. Corbally , our vice principal Ms. Cunningham, Ms. Tinnelly who has helped to prepare all the reader throughout the year, and to everybody who has helped us prepare for this day. Thank You from all in 6th Class x
